The Ku Klux Klan started in the early 1920s as a companionable group and soon turned into an organized crime group. The concept of this group was to take the rights of African Americans away. White superiority was the demolition of the Ku Klux Klan. The KKK has killed dozens of African American people and was the first terrorist organization. (Wikipedia) The source of the KKK started in the December of 1865. Six veterans from Tennessee started the KKK. The name of one of their leaders was Nathan Bedford Forrest who was also a veteran of the civil war. The Klan wore white robes and cone cell shaped head gear that made them appear larger. At this time the KKK was a social group and it hadnt dependable been distinguish for violence. The group was very secretive and soon became roll in the hay as the Invisible Empire. (Wikipedia) Later on the KKK was know for very violent and racist acts. These acts include burning crosses, theatre of operationss and violent death spo t African Americans and anyone who associated with them. The KKK had three steps to warn people, 1.
